4. Use the T6 Torx screwdriver to remove the 10 screws located around the edges of the MacBook Air’s case.

Step 2: Remove the Bottom Case

2. Once the bottom case is loose, lift it off the laptop.

Step 3: Disconnect the Old Battery

1. Locate the old battery inside the MacBook Air. It is usually found on the right side of the case, near the hinge.
2. Carefully disconnect the battery from the laptop by gently pulling the connector away from the motherboard.

Step 4: Install the New Battery

1. Place the new battery in the same position as the old one.
2. Connect the battery to the motherboard by pushing the connector back into place.
3. Make sure the battery is securely connected before proceeding.

Step 5: Reassemble Your MacBook Air

1. Place the bottom case back onto the MacBook Air and align the screw holes.
2. Use the T6 Torx screwdriver to reattach the 10 screws you removed earlier.
3. Gently press the bottom case back into place until all the screws are secure.

Step 6: Test Your MacBook Air

1. Power on your MacBook Air and check if the new battery is working correctly.
2. Monitor the battery life to ensure that the new battery is functioning as expected.
