How to Send Video on WhatsApp

In today’s digital age, sharing videos has become an integral part of our daily lives. WhatsApp, being one of the most popular messaging apps, offers a convenient way to send videos to your friends and family. Whether you want to share a funny video, a memorable moment, or a heartfelt message, this guide will help you learn how to send video on WhatsApp with ease.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp

The first step to sending a video on WhatsApp is to open the app on your smartphone. If you haven’t already installed WhatsApp, you can download it from the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

Step 2: Select a Contact

Once you’re in the WhatsApp app, navigate to the Chats tab to see a list of your contacts. Tap on the contact you want to send the video to. If you want to send the video to multiple contacts, you can create a group chat by tapping on the new chat icon (a pen and paper) and selecting the contacts you want to add.

Step 3: Open the Camera Roll

After selecting a contact or a group chat, tap on the camera icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will open the camera roll, where you can access your saved videos.

Step 4: Choose a Video

Scroll through your camera roll and find the video you want to send. Once you’ve found the video, tap on it to select it. If you want to send multiple videos, you can select more than one by tapping on the video thumbnails while holding down the finger.

Step 5: Send the Video

After selecting the video(s), tap on the send arrow icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will send the video to the selected contact or group chat. You can also add a text message along with the video by typing in the text box before sending.

Step 6: Confirm the Video Has Been Sent

Once the video has been sent, you will see a checkmark next to the message. If the checkmark is blue, it means the video has been delivered. If the checkmark is green, it means the video has been read by the recipient.

Additional Tips

– To send a video from a different app, you can use the Share button and select WhatsApp as the recipient.
– You can also send videos from WhatsApp Web by logging in to your WhatsApp account on a computer and following the same steps.
– Make sure you have enough storage space on your device before sending a video, as large files can consume a significant amount of storage.

By following these simple steps, you can easily send videos on WhatsApp and stay connected with your loved ones. Happy sharing!
