How to Delete Drafts on Instagram
Are you tired of seeing your incomplete posts on Instagram? Do you want to clear out your draft folder to make space for new content? Deleting drafts on Instagram is a simple process that can help you organize your account and keep your content fresh. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to delete drafts on Instagram for both iOS and Android devices.
Step 1: Open Instagram
First, open the Instagram app on your smartphone. If you haven’t already logged in, enter your username and password to access your account.
Step 2: Go to Your Profile
Once you’re logged in, tap on the profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will take you to your profile page, where you can see your posts, stories, and other account details.
Step 3: Access the Drafts Folder
On your profile page, scroll down until you find the “Drafts” section. Tap on the “Drafts” icon, which usually looks like a pen and paper or a camera with a dot in the middle.
Step 4: Select the Draft to Delete
In the drafts folder, you will see a list of all your saved drafts. Scroll through the list and tap on the draft you want to delete. This will open the draft for editing.
Step 5: Delete the Draft
Once you have selected the draft, look for the three dots or the “More Options” button at the top right corner of the screen. Tap on it, and then select “Delete” from the dropdown menu. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap “Delete” again to confirm.
Step 6: Repeat for Other Drafts
If you have more drafts to delete, repeat steps 4 and 5 for each draft. Once you have deleted all the drafts you want to remove, close the drafts folder by tapping on the back button or the cross icon at the top left corner of the screen.
Step 7: Clearing the Drafts Folder
If you want to delete all the drafts in your folder at once, go back to your profile page and tap on the “Drafts” section. Then, tap on the three dots or “More Options” button at the top right corner of the screen and select “Clear All.” A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap “Clear All” again to delete all the drafts in your folder.
By following these simple steps, you can easily delete drafts on Instagram and keep your account organized. Remember that deleted drafts cannot be recovered, so make sure you have saved any important content before deleting it. Happy posting!
